A Poem About Your Lipstick

Yesika Salgado

As you know. I am all about female empowerment and the uplifting of each other as women. Based on this interst and movement, I follow the work of Yesika Salgado, a Los Angeles based Salvardorian poet, who has such a strong way with words. I love most that she writes about Latinindad and female strength. Today, I was catching up on daily updates online and a post from The Huffington Post caught my attention on Facebook. Powerful Ad Encourages Partners To #ShareTheLoad

Ariel India Ad - #ShareTheLoad

BBDO India has won a Glass Lion for the ad I’m about to show you at the 2015’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. If you ask me, the award was more than well deserved. The upcoming issue includes exclusive interviews with three young, and very well known, Canadian women who are not only stunning but so incredibly talented!

Why The Barbie 2016 Fashionistas Line Is So Important

Curvy Barbie Tall Barbie Petite Barbie Original Barbie

Barbie has introduced its 2016 Fashionistas line and it made me VERY happy. At 28 years old, I felt like I could finally relate to this beautiful doll that I had created so many fond memories with. I LOVED playing with all my Barbies as a little girl and even still have them all in a pink Barbie suitcase at my parent’s home, along with all my accessories and furniture which are stored in boxes. I kept them because, not only did my parents feel bad about getting rid of my favourite childhood toys, but most importantly because I wanted to one day share them with my daughter.
