Yogurt Parfaits With iÖGO

Iogo Yogurt

I used to skip breakfast. Not once or twice a week, but all of the time. I knew this was definitely not a good for my health, but I thought I had no choice. I was convinced I had no time, however I was very wrong. There are so many quick and easy ways to put something together in the mornings, whether you’re a student or a parent on-the-go. Yogurt parfaits became a quick favourite for my mornings since they are fruit-filled, and you can sprinkle them with toppings to kick up the nutrients factor.

In this blog posts, I’ll be sharing some fun, affordable and easy activities you can put together for your kids to create memorable Easter weekends.

World Pasta Day

It’s no secret I LOVE food. But what’s my favourite unofficial food group? Yes, pasta. I love the versatility of pasta; you can have it in soup, hot, cold, glutten-free, etc. Anything and everything is possible with pasta, there is nothing that does not go well with pasta. I’m On YouTube Now!

I'm on YouTube Now

So I’ve been MIA for a few weeks, so what have I been up to? I launched my YouTube channel! This is something I have thought about doing for years, but the perfectionist in me was holding me back. Finally, I decided to take the leap. So far, it has been a pleasure creating, editing and producing content for my channel. But it is no easy job!

Well.ca Pop-Up Shop

Well.ca Pop-Up Shop Toronto

Did you know that Well.ca has a store in Toronto? The online shop has a physical location at Shops At Don Mills which  opened earlier this summer to the public. This is perfect for those who aren’t sure about online shopping just yet, or for those that want to see the products for themselves before buying some more online. I was invited to the VIP Grand Opening of the shop and had a grand time; it was also my little Zo-Zo’s first media event and she (capital L) Loved it!

The Internet In A Blog Post: July 2016 Edition

A Style SoireeI run into super fun, funny and creative things online and sometimes I don’t get around to watching a whole YouTube video, or reading a full article. As a mama on the go, sometimes I wish I had a go-to spot where I could quickly look through interesting and informational items for the week, or the month, without having to browse absolutely everything. This is how I came up with “The Internet in a Blog Post”. Maybe this can be your go-to source for a quick recap of outstanding items found on the internet that are truly worth a watch or read.

How To Fix Broken Powder Makeup

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Champagne Pop

A terrible and awful accident happened to one of my favourite makeup babies this weekend. My everyday go-to item fell off my makeup shelf in my bathroom and crashed onto my toilet seat. Classy, I know! All because I was keeping my toddler from using the bathroom sink like it was a birth bath at Central Park. As I swung around to grab her, I bumped my holy grail of highlighter, Becca Cosmetics x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop, off the shelf. Watching this baby fall was one of my worst nightmares. When I opened it up I prayed to all the saints that it was all in one piece, but unfortunately it was not my lucky day. Fortunately, I was able to bring it back to life thanks to a little makeup and DIY related knowledge. Of course, I’m sharing this with you because this nightmare can happen to any of us.

Spring 2016 Indigo Haul

Indigo, Chapters and Coles

It’s no surprise I LOVE shopping, but most of all I love a great sale! During the week leading to Mother’s Day, Indigo has a brilliant sale for 25% off many of their items; which resulted in the great Spring 2016 Indigo Haul. It worked out perfectly as I need to get a few things for my little lady who was starting daycare the week after my online shopping trip. Of course, I got a few chic items for myself. After all, I deserved a few mother’s day gifts for myself.

Baby Food Prep – Chicken Broth

Chicken broth was the very first thing I made my little Zoey when I started her baby food prep. I was given the idea by a family friend to make this broth from scratch, instead of just using water. I’m sharing a fairly basic and easy recipe with you, but feel free to add any other ingredients that you think would be super tasty for your little one.
